Puyang MedicaI College is located in Puyang City, Henan Province, which enjoys the reputation of "Dragon Capital of China" and "Imperial Capital of China". The school was founded in 1951, formerly known as Anyang District Health School; in October 1983, Anyang District was renamed Puyang City Health School after the withdrawal; in 1986, it was transferred to the management of the Department of Health of Henan Province; in 1988, it was re-established as Puyang City Health School; in June 2017, it was approved by the Department of Education of Henan Province for the record of the Ministry of Education of the State, and it was upgraded to Puyang Medical Higher Institute of Technology.
