Laboratory Construction of Agricultural College of Guizhou University

Professional laboratory of Chinese herbal medicine cultivation and identification

In 2005, it was established according to the needs of newly established professional experiments. After nearly three years of continuous investment and construction, there are 80㎡ 1 laboratory, 40㎡ 1 preparation room and 30㎡ 1 specimen room, which are located at 5 15, 5 13 and 504, respectively, on the fifth floor of the New Second Teaching Department of South Campus. Chinese herbal medicine cultivation and identification laboratory is a sub-laboratory of the basic laboratory of crop science in Agricultural College. Its main function is to enable students to have basic skills and practical abilities in cultivation of medicinal plants, breeding of medicinal plants, processing and processing of traditional Chinese medicine, identification of traditional Chinese medicine, investigation of Chinese herbal medicine resources, pharmacy of traditional Chinese medicine, pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine and so on. More than 250 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, such as ginseng, notoginseng, coptis and gastrodia elata, are displayed in the specimen room. At present, the teaching experiment of 10 courses in the sub-laboratory of Chinese herbal medicine cultivation and identification includes: Chinese herbal medicine processing, Chinese herbal medicine cultivation, biotechnology pharmacy, Chinese herbal medicine pharmacology, Chinese herbal medicine identification, Chinese herbal medicine quality analysis and identification, Chinese herbal medicine chemistry, medicinal plant breeding, medicinal plant resources, Chinese herbal medicine pharmacy and so on. It can basically meet the requirements of experimental teaching in this major.

Agricultural products quality and safety professional laboratory

The specialty of quality and safety of agricultural products is based on the specialties of plant protection, agronomy and horticulture, focusing on the safe production of agricultural products and the detection of pollutants in agricultural products. The existing laboratory of agricultural product quality and safety specialty covers an area of about 200m2, located on the fifth floor of Department 6 of Education in South Campus. Agricultural product quality and safety laboratory consists of organic pollutant pretreatment room, heavy metal pretreatment room, organic pollutant analysis room, heavy metal analysis room, preparation room and professional office. It is a base for teaching experiments, scientific research and foreign technical cooperation. At present, the laboratory mainly undertakes the experimental teaching tasks of 10 courses, such as instrument analysis, pesticide principle, pesticide residue analysis, environmental monitoring and evaluation, production principle and technology of organic food, production technology and application of pollution-free agricultural products, natural pesticides and green management of pests. The quality and safety laboratory of agricultural products focuses on cultivating students' practical ability, aiming to enable students to master the analytical methods of agricultural products pollutants such as pesticides and heavy metals, the basic skills of safe production of agricultural products and the planning and construction of safe agricultural products production bases.

Agricultural insect and pest control laboratory

Agricultural pest control laboratory is a professional laboratory of Plant Protection Department of Agricultural College of Guizhou University, and it is also a teaching and research laboratory. Our laboratory was founded at the beginning of the establishment of Guizhou A&M College, and carried out corresponding teaching and scientific research work, mainly undertaking the experimental teaching of agricultural entomology and related courses. 1996 12 Our laboratory was rated as an advanced laboratory by Guizhou Agricultural College and has made remarkable achievements in construction and personnel training. 1999 "agricultural pest control" was rated as a provincial key discipline by Guizhou provincial education department, and our laboratory has also made great progress in construction. In 2003, two disciplines, a zoologist who mainly relies on our laboratory to carry out teaching and scientific research, obtained the doctoral degree authorization point; In 2005, the first-class discipline of plant protection (including two disciplines of agricultural pest control), which mainly relies on laboratories to carry out teaching and scientific research, won the doctoral degree authorization point. In 2006, the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Pests and Diseases in Mountainous Areas of Guizhou Province was approved for construction. Our laboratory will be strengthened in the future development. At the same time, our laboratory has been highly valued by leaders at all levels in Guizhou Province, Guizhou University and Agricultural College, and has been recommended to participate in the evaluation of provincial professional laboratories. It is also hoped that our laboratory can be further built and developed in this evaluation, and make greater contributions to the teaching and scientific research work in Guizhou Province and the construction of "2 1 1 project" in Guizhou University.

Our laboratory now undertakes the experimental teaching tasks of agricultural entomology and related courses for undergraduate majors such as plant protection, agronomy, horticulture, cultivation and identification of Chinese herbal medicines, and quality and safety of agricultural products. But also undertake the experimental teaching and research tasks of doctoral and master's dissertations in zoology and agricultural pest control. There are 60 doctoral and master students. At present, the laboratory undertakes 24 scientific research projects, with a research fund of 2.5 million yuan, including 4 national natural science funds.

Our laboratory is located in the sixth teaching building and 12 teaching building of Huaxi South Campus of Guizhou University. According to the teaching characteristics of undergraduate and postgraduate experimental courses, the experimental equipment and instruments needed for experimental teaching of agricultural entomology and related disciplines were designed. Relevant rules and regulations have been formulated and strictly implemented, and experimental teaching and scientific research have been successfully completed.

There are 5 full-time staff and 1 1 part-time teachers in our laboratory. 6 professors and 5 associate professors; 7 doctors; 4 tutors, master 10. Fruit tree science laboratory

The Fruit Science Laboratory of Guizhou University is positioned as a professional laboratory for teaching and scientific research, and passed the evaluation of professional laboratories in Guizhou Province in 2005. The Fruit Tree Science Laboratory is located in Room 14, 7th and 3rd floors of New No.2 Teaching and New No.6 Teaching in the south campus of Guizhou University, with an area of 540m m.. The experimental room 12, ***470m.

There are more than 200 instruments and equipment in the laboratory, with a total value of more than 2 million yuan. There are teachers and full-time technicians 10 in the laboratory, including 2 professors, 4 associate professors, 3 lecturers, experimenters 1 person, and 4 people have doctoral degrees. Professor An Huaming (Ph.D.), director of the laboratory, is responsible for the daily management of the laboratory.

The fruit tree science laboratory is mainly composed of three sub-laboratories: fruit tree cultivation and breeding laboratory, fruit tree physiology laboratory and fruit tree biotechnology laboratory. Mainly responsible for undergraduates majoring in horticulture, agronomy, fumigation, plant protection, forestry, grassland science, quality and safety of agricultural products, cultivation and identification of Chinese herbal medicines, such as plant tissue culture, fruit tree cultivation, fruit tree breeding, nutrition and fertilization of horticultural plants, introduction to horticulture, storage, processing and marketing of horticultural products, etc., with a master's degree in fruit science. The experimental teaching tasks of 10 courses, such as Fruit Tree Cultivation in Karst Mountainous Areas, Modern Fruit Tree Research Methods, and Fruit Tree Physiological Experimental Technology, undertake about 50 experimental projects every year, with an average life expectancy of more than 5,000. At the same time, it is also the main experimental platform for graduation thesis (design) of undergraduate students majoring in horticulture and graduate students majoring in fruit tree science, and it is open to relevant disciplines of the whole school.
