Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) is a synthesis of the advantages of membrane treatment technology and biochemical treatment technology, which has the advantages of simple process, good effluent quality, simple operation and management, and occupies less land, etc. At present, this technology has been widely used in the field of wastewater treatment and reuse in Germany, the U.S.A., Japan and other countries.
Composition of QuanTe MBR:
From the overall structure, MBR is mainly composed of three parts: membrane module, bioreactor and pump, in which the bioreactor is the main place of pollutant degradation, the membrane module is equivalent to the secondary sedimentation tank in the biological treatment system, which plays the role of solid-liquid separation, and the pump is the source of power for the system effluent.
Process Flow: Conditioning Tank - Oxygenated Tank - MBR
MBR Process Characteristics:
MBR process, compared with other biological treatment processes, has the following characteristics:
(1) good quality of effluent, high stability: membrane filtration of the effluent so that the bioreactor to obtain a much higher concentration of organisms than the ordinary activated sludge method, greatly improving the biological degradation capacity and resistance to load impact. Biodegradation ability and load impact resistance. At the same time, the sludge retention time is longer, which is also for difficult to degrade organic matter decomposition bacteria and nitrifying bacteria and other slow proliferation rate of microorganisms can be propagated in the reactor to enrich, especially for the removal of difficult to degrade organic matter and ammonia nitrogen can be achieved ideal results. On the other hand, the membrane separation of organic macromolecules smaller than the membrane pore size of the retention effect, to ensure that the filtered water in the removal of bacteria, eliminate suspended solids and reduce BOD is very stable.
(2) Occupies less space: Membrane bioreactor can maintain a high sludge concentration, usually MLSS is 8~20g/L, is 2.5~5 times of the traditional biological treatment, at the same time, the system eliminates the secondary sedimentation tank and sludge reflux equipment, and thus occupies a small area.
(3) simple operation and maintenance: membrane separation unit process is simple, the water and operation is not affected by the sludge expansion and other factors, operation and maintenance is simple and convenient, and easy to realize automatic control and management.
(4) low sludge water costs: the system has a high concentration of sludge, long sludge age, which means that the sludge discharge is small, the amount of sludge production is only 30% of the traditional process, which is extremely favorable to the subsequent sludge treatment.
