Widely used in the 80's to guide intraoperative blood transfusion with good results, it has now become the most important indicator of perioperative coagulation monitoring. It is also an important tool for blood product management in advanced countries around the world, and is used in blood transfusion guidelines. Its function of saving 20%-50% of blood product usage has been widely proved by domestic and foreign clinical literature. The device was first used in cardiac surgery in 1995-96. At present, the intraoperative coagulation monitoring program of extracorporeal circulation with TEG as the main monitoring tool has been used in more than 40 countries around the world. 2004, the device was listed on the market for monitoring the efficacy of antiplatelet drugs-PlateletMapping, i.e., platelet mapping test, thus bringing a rapid and accurate technique to monitor platelet aggregation function in the clinic. Nearly 4,000 foreign and domestic clinical documents have demonstrated its effectiveness in clinical diagnosis and treatment from various perspectives.
