In order to better protect air travel for people with disabilities, the CAA has issued the newly revised Measures for the Administration of Air Transportation of People with Disabilities. The revised Measures for the Administration of Air Transportation of Persons with Disabilities came into effect on March 1, 2015, officially. The revised Measures further regulate the management and service of air transportation of persons with disabilities, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of persons with disabilities in the process of air transportation.
Unless otherwise provided for by safety and law, persons with disabilities who are qualified to travel by air will not be denied transportation. If you need special services, please apply to the airline in advance, and the airline will provide you with assistance in boarding and disembarking from the airplane and connecting flights.
Disabled persons who are eligible to travel by air and require the following equipment facilities or services from the carrier should make the request when booking their seats, no later than 48 hours before the departure time of the flight, and should check in at the airport two hours before the cut-off time for regular passengers.
