Sichuan Provincial Academy of Medical Sciences - Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, located in Qingyang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, No. 32, West Second Section of the First Ring Road, was founded in 1941, is a collection of clinical medical care, cadres of health care, medical research and medical education for the integration of the third-class A-level comprehensive hospital, is the Sichuan Provincial Medical Insurance and the New Agricultural Cooperative designated hospital.
In 2012, the Sichuan Translational Medicine Research Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was established in cooperation between the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and in 2013, the Medical School of the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UST) was established in cooperation with the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UET), and is affiliated with the UST.
