The cactus is the state flower. It is also known as the Grand Canyon State. It is located in the southwestern part of the United States. The state is also one of the Four Corners and shares borders with New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California and Mexico. It is connected to Colorado. The capital city is Phoenix. The major cities in Arizona are Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma and Flagstaff. Besides the Grand Canyon National Park in this state, there are many national forests, parks and monuments. There are also many Indian reservations.
There are universities such as the University of Arizona, Arizona State University and others. This state has three characteristics:
First, it is the driest state in the United States. It is also one of the most irrigated states.
Second, the GrandCanyon, the most magnificent of the Colorado River Valley, is located in the northern part of the state.

Day 3: New York - Philadelphia - Baltimore - Washington, D.C. - In the morning, I drove to Princeton, New Jersey, to visit Princeton University, which is known as the same as Harvard. Then I went to Philadelphia, the birthplace of the American Revolution, to visit the temporary capital where the Declaration of Independence was written. Among other things, the familiar Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the Old Capitol Building, and the National Independence Park will be presented before your eyes. Afterwards, we travel south to Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, via Pearl Harbor and the ancient warships of Baltimore. Day 4: Day trip to Washington D.C. Early morning bus tour to visit the towering Washington Monument, the unique White House, the official residence of the President, the majestic Capitol Hill, the legendary and sacred Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the uniquely designed Vietnam Memorial, the Watergate Mansion, the Kennedy Center for the Arts, Ford's Theatre, the Space Museum, the Smithsonian National Museum Complex, the Museum of Geography, and the Museum of Oriental Art designed by I.M. Pei, and so on.
Day 5Washington-Harrisburg-Niagara Falls-WashingtonTake a bus to Harrisburg, the state capital of Pennsylvania, visit Hershey's Chocolate City, and then proceed to the world-famous Corning Glass Center. You have the opportunity to experience a town with unique style and quaintness.
There are more opportunities to buy glassware at great prices. Then proceed to Niagara Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, arriving at the Great Falls Scenic Area in the evening. Filled with romance, the Falls is a popular destination for newlyweds and young couples on vacation. True to its name, the thunderous sound of Niagara Falls is breathtaking. The water at the summit plunges more than 50 meters into the valley floor, and the raging rapids are like a thousand horses galloping.
Day 6: Great Falls-Boston - You have the opportunity to take photos at the Falls National Park. Weather permitting, you can experience the majesty of the falls for yourself by taking the Maid of the Mist and sailing along the US-Canada border to the falls. Listen to the waterfall gush about its mysteries and enjoy the ancient pleasure of listening to the waves. Just before noon, I leave the Falls area and drive through upstate New York to Boston, the birthplace of the American Revolutionary War. In the evening you can enjoy a fresh and delicious Boston lobster dinner at your own expense. Day 7 Boston-Los Angeles (or Boston-New York-Los Angeles) - Early in the morning, visit Boston, a vibrant city where old and new cultures meet.
Visit the USS Invincible (America's first wooden warship), the JFK Library and Fisherman's Wharf. Then visit: Harvard University, the world's highest institution of learning, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) which breeds high-tech talents, and the poetic Charles River. Afternoon transfer, there are two options to fly to LAX airport in Los Angeles. Either (a) book a flight from Boston Bos Airport to Los Angeles and request a departure after 15:00 PM; or (b) book a flight from JFK/LGA Airport to Los Angeles and request a departure after 20:30 PM. Upon arrival at LAX airport in Los Angeles that evening, wait in the baggage claim area (personal exit for international flight arrivals) and your guide will take your guests to the hotel to rest. Knights Inn or equivalent.
Day 8 Los Angeles - London Bridge - Loughlin (or San Francisco - Yosemite) - Early morning departure from Los Angeles and transfer to Lake Washoe, known as the Blue Lake of Arizona. It is a fishing, boating and swimming destination. Visit the lake's famous London Bridge, which was dismantled brick by brick from London, England, and shipped here to be rebuilt. It is one of the world's most valuable antiques and the largest relocated structure in the world. Then arrive at Laflin, Nevada's water casino and enjoy the views along the Colorado River. Day trip: it's almost impossible to see Phoenix in one day. But if you only have one day, start at the Pueblo Grand Museum and Archaeological Park (4619 East Washington Street), where you can get a primer on local geology and history. It's a short drive from here to the Desert Botanical Garden (Papago Park, 1201 Galvin Parkway North). Be sure to take a walk on this Sonoran Desert Road, which is about 0.4km long and full of plants and people, and take a short break to settle in for lunch at the Arboretum's outdoor rooftop cafe, where you can enjoy your meal with a view from above. Try the strawberry salad or the baked potato goat cheese sandwich, and don't forget to keep an eye out for road runners waiting for their big meal.
From here, visit the Phoenix Zoo (Papago Park, 455 north of Galvin Parkway), where you can see meerkats, Arabian antelope, spectacled bears and other rare animals. If you still have time and energy, take a stroll through nearby Papago Park, then follow the trail into the Caves in the Rock, where you can take in all of Phoenix, and where the sunsets are especially stunning. Two-day tour: take a self-guided tour of the campus and walk around from the Arizona State University Tourist Information Center in Tempe (826 Apache Street East, on Rural Street). There's plenty of artwork, sculptures and large buildings to see. Stroll along busy Mill Avenue and browse the bookstore and fashion stores.
Along the way, you'll see a number of beer districts and enter small local breweries to sample beer.Montiand's la Casa Vieja (12025 19th Avenue North) is an old adobe hacienda, where you can come in and sample delicious ribs. Staying up late at night? Check out the comedy show at Tempe Improv (930 East University Avenue). Wake up early the next day and head straight to Tempe Town Lake (80 Rio Salado Park West) for boating, fishing, and concerts. Sunset cruises around the lake, where there's also food, wine and music to end the day. THREE-DAY TRIP: If you have three days, remember to visit Superstition Mountain and the Apache Trail to the east.Some parts of AZ 88 are a continuation of the original trail.
The original trail was cut out of the rock in 1906 to transport materials for the construction of the Roosevelt Dam at the end of the trail. President Theodore Roosevelt called the 240-mile road the most awe-inspiring and revered natural landscape. From the town of Apache Junction, follow AZ 88 to Tortilla Flats, a town that was once a stagecoach stop. It is an interesting place to visit. Take a well-deserved break and have a burger with ice cream for lunch before heading onto narrow dirt roads, twisty trails, and steep slopes before arriving at Fish Creek Canyon.
Drive about 143.2 kilometers to Globe, Arizona, a small town known for its minerals, and home to some of the richest copper deposits in North America. There are several good places to stay overnight, such as the Noftsger Mountain Hotel (425 North Street), a converted 1907 school building with room and board. The next day, visit the famous Globe, especially the Gila Country History Museum and the Cobre Canyon Center for its artwork. In the southeastern part of the town, visit the Besh-Ba-Gowah Archaeological Park, where you will be transported back in time 800 years to the time of the Salado, who lived in the 13th to 14th centuries.
