What do you often hear about lead-free products?

Lead and lead-free solder are aimed at solder (solder composition for short). Generally speaking, lead-free solder mainly consists of two components: 63% tin and 37% lead, and its melting point is about 183 degrees. Usually, lead-free solder is an alloy of three metals, tin, silver and copper, with the proportions of 96.5% and 3% respectively, and the melting point is about 220 degrees, including the soldering iron that many people have been wondering about. Why are there lead soldering irons and lead-free soldering irons In fact, it not only refers to the requirements of the materials produced by this soldering iron, but also refers to the welding process suitable for this soldering iron.
