VT series NTC thermistor has those characteristics what is the main use?

VT series NTC thermistor is EXSENSE Aisheng's NTC thermistor for medical equipment temperature sensor and its main features are:

Good thermal cycling ability

Reliability, high stability

Operating temperature -40 ℃ ~ +150 ℃

Main use is: manufacturing various transportation temperature sensors, such as: such as Coolant Temperature Sensors (CTS), Intake Air Temperature Sensors (IATS), Exhaust Air Temperature Sensors (EATS), FuelTemperature Sensors (FTs) and so on. For more information, please visit: www.exsense.com.cn

The Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS), often referred to as the water temperature sensor, is installed on the engine coolant outlet pipe, and its function is to detect the temperature of the engine coolant and convert the temperature signal into an electrical signal transmitted to the ECu. The ECU corrects the injection time and ignition time according to the engine temperature signal, so as to make the engine work in the best condition.

Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS) is installed in the intake pipeline, its function is to detect the temperature of the intake air, and the temperature signal is converted into an electrical signal to the ECU. the intake air temperature signal is the correction signal for various control functions. If the intake air temperature sensor signal is interrupted, it will lead to hot start difficulties and increased exhaust gas emissions.

It is well known that air weight is related to intake air temperature and atmospheric (intake) pressure. When the intake temperature is low, the air density is high and the weight of the same volume of gas increases; conversely, when the intake temperature increases, the weight of the same volume of gas will decrease. In the fuel injection system using manifold pressure type, airfoil type, Kalman vortex type, volume core type air flow sensor, because the air flow measured by the air flow sensor for the volume flow, so it is necessary to install the intake air temperature sensor and atmospheric pressure sensor. the ECU according to the engine's intake air temperature and pressure signals to correct the injection volume, so that the engine automatically adapts to the external ambient temperature (cold, high temperature) and pressure (plateau, plain) changes. When the intake temperature is low (high air density), the resistance of the thermistor is large, the sensor input ECU signal voltage is high, ECU control injectors to increase the amount of fuel injected; on the contrary, when the intake temperature is high (low air density), the resistance of the thermistor is small, the sensor input ECU signal voltage is low, the ECU will control injectors to reduce the amount of fuel injected.
