Is the Medical Device Classification Catalog 2002 repealed?
Repealed. Medical devices are instruments, equipment, apparatus, in vitro diagnostic reagents and calibrators, materials, and similar or related items used directly or indirectly in the human body. Medical Device Classification Catalog 2002 is abolished, the State Food and Drug Administration issued the Medical Device Classification Catalog on August 31, 2017 (hereinafter referred to as the new "Classification Catalog"), which came into force on August 1, 2018 onwards.
