New wearable patent: what does a foldable curved screen smart bracelet look like?

The patent's foldable display is a sight to behold. Design drawings show the bracelet appearing as a curved block, capable of wrapping around the wrist or opening up and flattening out to interact with apps like a smartphone.

According to foreign media reports on Oct. 16, a new Samsung wearable device patent - a foldable smart bracelet - was recently discovered on the Patently Mobile patent website.

Samsung is a very competitive company in the wearable device market. Like other companies, Samsung so far still adhere to the concept of minimalist design, focusing on highlighting the features of the band and screen, such as Samsung released a new smartwatch Gear Sport. and this very special patent product reflects Samsung's ambitious.

Based on the patent design image, it is difficult to see Samsung for the specific design of the product. The patented image is designed to provide the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office with an overview of the product's appearance as well as its functionality, and doesn't necessarily have much impact on the design concept.

While Samsung has said that it will officially launch a foldable smartphone in 2018. But it's worth noting that Samsung, like other large companies, has been applying for patents, and many of the patented technologies didn't end up with related products on the market. So while Samsung may be designing a foldable smartphone, it's still a long way from a product release to market.
