Chifeng Chaogu Ophthalmic Hospital is a designated unit for Chifeng City Basic Social Medical Insurance, Chifeng City Workers' Compensation Insurance and New Rural Cooperative Medical Care. The hospital is located in the middle section of Hada Street, Hongshan District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with convenient transportation and elegant environment, and it is the most large-scale eye medical institution in the northeast region.
The hospital has more than 110 professional and technical personnel, including doctors, masters, (deputy) chief physician more than 20. It has set up 100 beds and opened specialized departments such as Cataract Department, Glaucoma Department, Ocular Surface Disease Department, Children's Eye Disease Department, Eye Trauma Department, Fundus Disease Department, Orbital Disease Department, Excimer Myopia Treatment Department, Ocular Oncology Plastic Surgery Department, and Optometry Department, etc. It can carry out corneal transplantation, ophthalmology, eye surgery and other eye diseases. It can carry out corneal transplantation, non-penetrating anti-glaucoma surgery, vitrectomy, complex retinal detachment restoration surgery, removal of intraorbital masses and other ophthalmic surgeries and diagnostic and therapeutic projects that have been carried out in China, and its medical technology has reached the advanced level of ophthalmic medical technology in China. The hospital focuses on the development of new technologies, and has carried out twelve new technologies in the Chifeng area since the establishment of the hospital.
