Synopsis:
Set in Las Vegas and based on a true story, CSI tells the tale of how Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) courtroom crime investigators obtain evidence at the scene of a crime to solve it. The investigators, who famously say "dead bodies talk," use fingerprints, shoe prints, bullet casings, blood, hair, fibers, body wounds, and other tiny pieces of evidence that are carefully analyzed and researched to find the key to solving the case.
The process of solving the mystery is quite fascinating. The drama also reconstructs the scene of the victim's murder, filming how the bullet traveled through the body and how the blood vessels and organs were destroyed, in a breathtakingly realistic landscape. With such a meticulous approach to crime solving, even those who have the guts to commit a crime will have to think twice before taking the law into their own hands.
The CBS ace program, which won the 59th Golden Globe Award for "Best Series," starred in "Alien" and won the Best Actress Award with the show. In addition, the program was nominated for six Emmy Awards, was selected as one of the "Ten Best Television Series" in the United States in 2002, and the ratings champion of the United States CBS television network that year, so it can be said to be a collection of three thousand favorites in one.
The program is more episodic and suspenseful than traditional criminal reporting. CSI's dedicated consultant, Elizabeth DeVane, is a former crime scene investigator who worked for the Los Angeles Department of Safety for 15 years. The 41-year-old Devane is credited with the program's high ratings. In addition, "CSI" has become an essential study for U.S. police, and even Britain's Scotland Yard, Japan's Guard Agency and the French police see it as a counterterrorism textbook.
CSIs are forensic officers who reason about the course of a crime based on the evidence at the scene, and I've seen the show, and it's pretty good.
