2006: National Low-cost Healthcare Project Strategy Seminar

On November 24, 2006, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) organized a seminar on "National Low-cost Healthcare Project Strategy "*** with Changchun Institute of Optical Machinery of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CIO), Institute of Genome Research (IGR), Institute of Computing (ICC), Xi'an Institute of Optical Machinery (XIOM), and National Opto-electronic Group (NOPG), together with Shenzhen Bureau of Science and Information Technology (SBST), Development and Reform Bureau (DARB) and Bureau of Trade and Industry (BTI), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Medical Device Industry Association (SMDA), and Shenzhen Merry Company. Medical Device Industry Association and Shenzhen Myriad Company, *** with the convening of "universal low-cost medical engineering strategy" seminar to discuss the feasibility of universal health engineering strategy and the creation of "universal low-cost health engineering center" program.

2007: Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) established the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Industrialization Enterprises

August 15, 2007, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) established the Institute of Biomedical and Health Engineering (IBHE). The Institute will build a public **** research platform for biomedical and health engineering based on two major directions, namely, image-guided intelligent medical technology platform and low-cost health, and promote the development of low-cost medical and health technologies.

2007: 10,000 Free Medical Checkups to Benefit Vulnerable Groups

On January 16, 2007, the Center for Low-Cost Health Engineering for All officially launched the "10,000 Free Medical Checkups Project", which provides a full set of medical checkup system solutions, and provides free medical checkups to vulnerable groups such as sanitation workers, grassroots security guards, and production workers in Shenzhen. By providing a full set of medical checkup system solutions, the project mainly targets the disadvantaged groups in Shenzhen, such as sanitation workers, grassroots security guards and production workers.

2007: Shenzhen Advanced Institute's "low-cost medical beds" were dedicated to the opening of the 17th National Congress of the People's Republic of China

On the evening of Oct. 15, 2007, at the opening ceremony of the 17th National Congress of the People's Republic of China on CCTV's news broadcast, President Hu Jintao delivered a speech titled "Holding High the Great Banner of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Taking Advantage of the Future of the People's Republic of China". 2008: Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) set up "Low-cost Health Demonstration Center for the Whole Population" and other research and service organizations

2009: SIAT's low-cost health technology aims at the world's medical problems

On March 30, 2009, SIAT and Shenzhen One Medical Group signed a "strategic cooperation framework agreement" at the Intercontinental Hotel in Shenzhen. The goal of the strategic cooperation between the two sides is to develop high-tech medical devices in the field of medical equipment industry, which is one of the six strategic innovation industries in Shenzhen, to have an impact in the field of biomedical engineering in the world, to have a position in the field of medical equipment research and development in the national innovation system, and to have a driving force in the advanced medical equipment manufacturing industry in Shenzhen, which can contribute to the construction of Shenzhen into an important high-tech industrial base and a national innovative city.

2010: CAS "low-cost medical" special start-up meeting held in Shenzhen

January 13, 2010, "low-cost medical" special is the Chinese Academy of Sciences is another key project deployment, the project is by the Shenzhen The project is oriented to the strategic needs of the national population and health field, and will provide strong technical support for building China's multi-level, distributed and low-cost health care system.

2011: Longgang Low-cost Health Industry Incubation Center opened

On October 27, 2011, the National Low-cost Health Industry Incubation Center was officially opened in Longgang, Shenzhen, with 8 core enterprises stationed in the park. The layout of SIAT in the low-cost health industry (scientific research, technology platform, engineering laboratory, incubation center, etc.) was gradually completed.

2012: Industrial Union, Establishment of "Shenzhen Low-cost Health Industry-University-Research Strategic Alliance"

In order to improve the innovation ability and market competitiveness of Shenzhen's low-cost health industry, SIAS took the opportunity of the 2012 Medical Expo to unite with dozens of medical enterprises in Shenzhen and initiated the establishment of the "Shenzhen Low-cost Health Industry-University-Research Strategic Alliance".
