1. Preparation:
a. Ensure that the working area is well ventilated to prevent argon gas buildup.
b. Check whether the pressure of the argon cylinder is sufficient, if insufficient need to replace the argon cylinder.
c. Check whether the power cord is firmly connected and the power supply is normal.
2. Connect the gas source:
a. Connect the argon cylinder to the argon input port and make sure it is firmly connected.
b. Open the valve on the argon cylinder and adjust the argon flow.
3. Connect the power supply:
a. Plug the power cord of the welder into the power outlet and make sure it is firmly connected.
b. Turn on the power switch of the welder and wait for the indicator light to come on.
4. Set the welding parameters:
a. Adjust the welding current and voltage according to the type and thickness of the welding material.
b. Normally, the setting of welding current and voltage should be adjusted according to the specification and requirement of welding material.
5. Preparing to weld:
a. Clean the welded workpiece and make sure it is free of oil and impurities.
b. Fix the workpiece on the welding table according to the welding requirements.
6. Perform welding:
a. Press the switch on the welding gun to ignite the arc.
b. Hold the arc of the welding gun over the welded joint, maintaining the proper welding speed and angle.
c. Keep the welding gun steady during the welding process to ensure a quality weld.
7. Completing the welding:
a. When the welding is completed, release the switch on the welding gun to cut off the arc.
b. Turn off the power switch on the welder.
c. Close the valve on the argon bottle and cut off the argon supply.
8. Cleanup:
a. Wait for the welded workpiece to cool down and then perform cleanup to remove slag and welding residue.
b. Organize the welding gun and power cord and store them in a dry and ventilated place.
