The laboratory specializing in aquaculture in the College of Animal Science of Guizhou University was formed in 2005. Therefore, the history of this laboratory is relatively short. The existing room area of Aquaculture Specialized Laboratory is about 200m2, and the experimental equipment*** counts more than 70 sets (pieces), with a total equipment amount of more than 300,000 yuan. Development History and Laboratory OverviewLaboratory of Animal Medicine is formed by the merger of General Disease Teaching and Research Department of Guizhou Agricultural College and Veterinary Hospital, which is subordinate to the College of Animal Science of Guizhou University, with a total area of 1,453.94m2 (the third building of 362.66m2, 1,091.28m2 of Animal Medicine), and is comprised of clinical courses (Veterinary Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Veterinary Internal Medicine, Livestock Infectious Diseases, Animal Parasitology, Chinese Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Clinical Diagnostics) laboratories and the Animal Hospital. The laboratories for clinical courses are mainly located on the third and fifth floors of the third teaching building, and the animal hospital consists of large animal clinic, small animal clinic, laboratory, X-ray room, ultrasound room, and medicine room, etc. At present, it is mainly responsible for the whole animal medicine program of the hospital.
