"The Chinese People's **** and the State Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases"
Article 5 of the people's governments at all levels to lead the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The people's governments at or above the county level formulate plans for the prevention and control of infectious diseases and organize the implementation thereof, and establish and improve the system of disease prevention and control, medical treatment and supervision and management of the prevention and control of infectious diseases.
Article 6 of the State Council health administrative department in charge of the national infectious disease prevention and control and its supervision and management. Local people's governments at or above the county level, the health administrative department is responsible for the prevention and control of infectious diseases and their supervision and management within the administrative region. Other departments of the people's governments at or above the county level are responsible for the prevention and control of infectious diseases within their respective areas of responsibility. The army's prevention and control of infectious diseases, in accordance with this Law and the relevant provisions of the State, by the People's Liberation Army health department in charge of the implementation of supervision and management.
