When does the 2021 Shanghai Book Fair start - ticket prices

Love reading, love life, Shanghai Book Fair - nearly a thousand Chinese and foreign writers, scholars and celebrities from all walks of life gathered in Shanghai, and held more than 700 theme forums, book recommendations and good book reading activities at the main venue and multiple branch venues. Multiple exhibition halls and different content sections, friends who like reading should not miss it.

202118th Shanghai Book Fair 1. Book Fair Time

From August 11 to August 17, 9:00-21:00 (visitors will stop checking in from 30 minutes before the end of the exhibition)

2. Book Fair Location

Shanghai Exhibition Center (No. 1000, Yan'an Middle Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, near Tongren Road)

3. Ticket price

NT$10 for matinees and NT$5 for night performances (prices in previous years, to be announced this year)

4. Book Fair Security Inspection

This book fair has separate South Security Check Tent (Gate No. 2 and Gate 3) and North Security Check Tent (Gate No. 8). Audiences must go through three steps to enter.

For the initial inspection, readers and spectators will present their IDs, health codes, and ticket purchase vouchers at the entrance, wear masks, and have their temperatures taken. For children to enter the venue, their accompanying person must present their family ID. Only those whose body temperature does not exceed 37.3℃ can enter the security tent. Entrants must present a medical isolation certificate.

A queuing and waiting area with an interval of 1 meters will be set up in front of the security check tent to prevent people from gathering. Readers and spectators enter the security tent for security inspection and a second infrared temperature measurement.

◆Ticket verification and binding Readers and viewers can check the original ID card (passport) through the ticket verification gate in the security tent, and synchronize the facial recognition binding.

Note: If you feel unwell or have abnormal body temperature during admission, you must cooperate with the staff and go to the on-site medical observation point to be arranged by professionals.

If children are unable to present their original ID card for admission, they must present their household registration book/birth certificate/children's electronic ID card to the staff for verification before admission.

5. Ticket use The tickets purchased by the audience are single-day tickets, which are divided into day tickets and night tickets. Admission is strictly according to the designated visit time on the ticket.

Each ticket cannot be used repeatedly and is only valid for one entry and will be invalid upon departure.

Once sold, tickets are non-refundable.

Children must purchase full-price tickets to enter, and there are no special tickets for special groups.

There are no on-site ticket sales at the main venue of the Shanghai Book Fair.

You can enter the venue with your original ID card and ticket purchase voucher. Please be sure to bring the original ID card that is consistent with the ticket purchase information.
