Application materials:
1. electronic application form for non-immigrant visa (DS- 160).
2. A valid passport for traveling to the United States must be valid for at least six months beyond the scheduled stay in the United States. If the passport contains more than one person, each visa applicant needs to submit a separate application.
3. 2-inch x2-inch (5cm x 5cm) photos taken in the last six months. As for the description of the photo format, the photo must be a front photo with a white background taken within 6 months.

Time required:
The average visa processing time is about 1 week, and the whole process is about 3 weeks, including visa appointment time+interview +3 working days to get the visa.
Application process:
1. Fill in the online non-immigrant visa application form DS- 160 and print out the "confirmation page" with barcode.
Note: All applicants, including children, must submit the DS- 160 form online and bring a clearly printed "confirmation page" when going to the embassy or consulate for an interview. Please ensure that all information is complete and correct before submission. No changes can be made after submission. Remember the DS- 160 number to make an appointment for an interview.
2. Pay the visa application fee.
Note: After the payment is completed, print the receipt number and keep it properly. Once lost, it cannot be replaced. If you don't provide the receipt number, you will not be able to make an appointment.
3. Make an appointment for an interview.
Log in to the profile page with the voucher used when paying. After entering the system, you can see the control panel. Click "Schedule Interview Time" in the left menu to start the appointment scheduling process.
Materials to be provided for reservation: (1) passport number (2) number on the payment receipt of visa application (3) ten-digit barcode number on the confirmation page of ds-160.
The next process needs to select the visa type, input personal information, add relatives, select the delivery address of documents, and confirm the payment status of visa fees. The last step is to arrange the interview time.
4. Go to the appointed place for an interview.
Go to the embassy or consulate for an interview at the appointed time. Please take with you the printed reservation form, the printed confirmation page of DS- 160, the recent photos of the last six months and all new and old passports. If any of the above materials is missing, the application will not be accepted.
Eligible applicants can apply for a test-free interview.
Bring all the materials needed for the visa on the day of the interview (see the non-immigrant visa category on the website of the US Embassy). It should be noted that non-applicants cannot accompany applicants into the visa hall. During the visa interview, each applicant must prove his situation to the visa officer separately. Description of visa:
B- 1 and B-2 business travel visas are mainly for short-term business travel (B- 1) or sightseeing and seeking medical services (B-2).
B- 1 Visa is issued to applicants who go to the United States to engage in short-term business activities, attend meetings in the fields of science and technology, education, specialty and commerce, dispose of real estate or negotiate contracts.
B-2 visas are issued to applicants who go to the United States for leisure and entertainment, including sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, medical care and other social, social or service activities.
B- 1 and B-2 visas are usually issued in combination as one visa type: B- 1 and B-2.
If you want to apply for B- 1 and B-2 visas, you must prove to the visa officer that you meet the visa application conditions stipulated in the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA).
