General situation of xinyao town

Xinyao Town is located in the southwest mountainous area of Chongxin County, with an altitude of 1275 to1712m, with an average altitude of1400m. It is adjacent to Liangyuan Township in Lingtai County in the east, Huating County in the west, Longxian County in Shaanxi Province in the south and Tongcheng Industrial Park and Huanghua Township in the north. The area is 20 1.3 km2, and the population is 2 185 households, 13635 people (at the end of 2008). Administer 13 administrative villages. The town government is located in Chicheng Village, 38 kilometers away from the county seat. Scenic spots include Tangmaoshan Forest Park.
