In 2009, Jinchuan County sought funds for the new repair, renovation and expansion of two county-level health care units, 20 township health centers, three central health centers, 86 village health rooms, and the purchase of advanced medical facilities and equipment.
As of December 2011, Jinchuan County*** renovated 25 hospitals of various types, and the natural population growth rate of Jinchuan County was 3.2 per thousand, maintaining a low fertility level.
