What is pc material

PC is a linear carbonate polyester with a molecule in which carbonate groups alternate with other groups that can be aromatic, aliphatic, or both. Bisphenol A type PC is the most important industrial product.

PC is an almost colorless amorphous polymer in the glassy state with good optical properties.PC high molecular weight resins have high toughness, with a cantilever beam notched impact strength of 600~900J/m, and a heat deflection temperature of about 130°C for unfilled grades, which can be increased by 10°C after glass fiber reinforcement.

PC's Flexural modulus of PC can reach more than 2400MPa, the resin can be processed into large rigid products. The creep rate under load is very low at temperatures below 100°C. PC has poor hydrolysis resistance and cannot be used in products that are repeatedly subjected to high pressure steam.

pc uses

1, optical lighting

Used in the manufacture of large lampshades, protective glass, optical instruments, left and right eyepiece barrels, etc., but also can be widely used in aircraft transparent materials.

2, electronic and electrical

Polycarbonate is an excellent E (120 ℃) level of insulating materials, used in the manufacture of insulated connectors, coil frames, tube holders, insulated bushings, telephone shells and parts, battery shells of the miner's lamps and so on. Can also be used for the production of very high dimensional accuracy of the parts, such as optical disks, telephones, electronic computers, video recorders, telephone exchanges, signal relays and other communications equipment. Polycarbonate thin touch is also widely used as capacitors, insulated leather bags, audio tapes, color video tapes and so on.

3, mechanical equipment

Used in the manufacture of a variety of gears, racks, worm gear, worm, bearings, cams, bolts, levers, crankshafts, ratchets, but also for some mechanical equipment shells, covers and frames and other parts.
