Huang Bingjun’s charity

Mr. Huang Bingjun founded the Jiangmen Changxing Care Fund in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province on July 6, 2011. Mr. Huang Bingjun serves as the honorary chairman. The main purpose of the Jiangmen Changxing Care Fund is to provide assistance such as “poverty-stricken, educational and medical assistance” to needy groups in Jiangmen City to help them improve their living standards. Mr. Huang Bingjun promised to donate 100 million yuan to solve practical problems for needy groups in Jiangmen City. Starting from 2012, he donated 20 million yuan every year for 5 consecutive years to carry out various charity activities.

On October 28, 2011, Mr. Huang Bingjun, the honorary chairman and donor of the Changxing Care Fund, his mother Ms. Li Cuifang, his wife Ms. Sheng Chenghui and Ms. He Xiuling, the chairman of the Changxing Care Fund and other guests were in Jiangmen City Acting Mayor Pang Guomei, Executive Vice Mayor Nie Dangquan, Vice Mayor Li Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government Chen Xuemin, Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau, President of the Municipal Charity Association Chen Xia and other relevant leaders attended the ceremony. At the ceremony, Changxing Care Fund handed over donation checks to 4 hospitals in Jiangmen City, and distributed assistance funds to 30 representatives of aided students, 30 representatives of minimum living allowance recipients, and 5 representatives of five-guarantee households. The aid plan that year was to provide poverty relief, education, and medical assistance to more than 80,000 recipients in the Jiangmen area, with aid funds reaching 20 million yuan. Among them, 200 yuan is provided to each of the city's more than 5,900 five-guarantee households; 150 yuan is provided to each of the city's 72,400 minimum living allowance recipients; and more than 1,000 people studying in the city's vocational schools are provided with assistance. 1,000 yuan was provided to each of the school children of children from subsistence allowance families; 10,000 yuan was provided to each of 275 subsistence allowance recipients suffering from serious diseases in three districts of the city; 3.8 million yuan was donated to the Central Hospital and Wuyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine , Municipal People's Hospital and Jianghai District People's Hospital purchased a batch of medical devices and equipment.

On October 20, 2012, the Jiangmen City Changxing Care Fund distributed the second aid fund of "assisting the poor, helping students, and assisting the medical care". The total amount of aid was 22.033225 yuan. In Jiangmen City, 68,071 subsistence allowance recipients, 7,667 five-guarantee recipients, 1,221 needy students, 448 patients with major diseases, 722 disabled people, and 715 orphans have received assistance funds. In 2012, 81,000 people in need benefited across the city.
