Brief introduction of Wen Jieruo

Wen Jieruo, translator. 1927 China, born in Beijing, translated the most Japanese works. Many works by Japanese writers Yasunari Kawabata and Yukio Mishima were introduced to readers in China through her hands. In her later years, she and her husband Xiao Gan jointly translated Ulysses by Irish writer James Joyce, which was a literary event.
