Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, formerly known as Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was founded in 1958, is a provincial key institutions, but also the country's higher education institutions of traditional Chinese medicine earlier. The school is located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, the main campus is located in the beautiful scenery of the foot of the Thousand Buddha Mountain, covers an area of 217 acres, building area of 157,000 square meters; the new campus is located in the Jinan Changqing University Science and Technology Park, covers an area of 1,748 acres, the planning area of 480,000 square meters, the first phase of the project has been completed in 2005 with a construction area of more than 170,000 square meters, the occupancy rate of more than 4,000 students.
