Pressure sensor CPS181

CPS181 Ceramic Piezoresistive Pressure Sensor

Detailed Description

1. Overview

CPS181 is made of ceramic materials through a special process Dry ceramic piezoresistive pressure sensor. Ceramic is a material recognized as highly elastic, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, shock- and vibration-resistant. The thermal stability characteristics of ceramics and its thick film resistance allow it to operate in a temperature range of -40 to 135°C, and has high measurement accuracy and stability. The electrical insulation degree is >2kV, the output signal is strong, and the long-term stability is good. Ceramic sensors with high characteristics and low prices will be the development direction of pressure sensors. In European and American countries, there is a trend of fully replacing other types of sensors. In China, more and more users are using ceramic sensors to replace diffused silicon pressure sensors.

CPS181 dry ceramic pressure sensor is widely used in many fields such as process control, environmental control, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, servo valves and transmissions, chemicals and chemical industry and medical instrumentation. It has a small size, a diameter of 18mm, a measuring range of 1 to 600bar, and a low price. It is widely used in various pressure measurement occasions.

3. Working principle

Corrosion-resistant There is no liquid transmission in the ceramic pressure sensor. The pressure directly acts on the front surface of the ceramic diaphragm, causing the diaphragm to undergo slight deformation. The thick film resistor is printed on the back of the ceramic diaphragm and connected to form a Wheatstone bridge (closed bridge). Due to the piezoresistive effect of the varistor, the bridge generates a highly linear voltage signal that is proportional to the pressure and proportional to the excitation voltage. The standard signal is calibrated to 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.3 mV/V depending on the pressure range. etc., can be compatible with strain gauge sensors. Through laser calibration, the sensor has high temperature stability and time stability. The sensor has its own temperature compensation of 0~70℃, and can be in direct contact with most media.

Since the CPS181 ceramic sensor has no liquid transfer function and no filling liquid, it will not cause process pollution. Therefore, it is widely used in food, medicine and other industries. In addition, it is a dry ceramic diaphragm, so it is not affected by the installation direction. The pressure transmitter matched with the German Hirschmann series connector is widely used in various pressure measurement occasion.
