Beijing Huairou District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in June 1985. After 20 years of unremitting efforts, it has developed from a township health center with a lack of talents and poor equipment, which could only provide the most basic medical services, into a comprehensive Grade 2A Chinese medicine hospital integrating centralized medicine, combined Chinese and Western medicine, medical treatment, education, scientific research and prevention. It is a clinical teaching base of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and one of the first hospitals in Beijing to be listed as a designated hospital for medical insurance.
