What is LCP Cooling

LCP is a new solution for cooling IT equipment that is designed for high heat generation.

The full name of LCP is LiquidCoolingPackage, a program that uses liquid to make cold air, which has high cooling efficiency, low operating noise, and only cools the inside of HPC cabinets. This new refrigeration system, completely different from the traditional precision air conditioning under the air supply refrigeration, so that the traditional 4KW/cabinet cooling capacity to 30KW/cabinet refrigeration capacity, so as to solve the most important problem of the operating environment of IT equipment.

The cooling principle of LCP is to first use the fan inside the LCP cabinet to pump hot air from the back of the server to the liquid cooling cabinet, use the water pipe inside the LCP to cool the hot air, and then blow the cold air to the front of the server, while the hot water is then refluxed back to the outdoor circulating refrigeration equipment, and the refrigeration effect is achieved through the process of non-stop circulation. Figuratively speaking, the difference between liquid cooling equipment and precision air conditioning is like the difference between refrigerator cooling and cold storage cooling. For the machine room, LCP will each cabinet packaged as a "refrigerator", and precision air conditioning to the entire room cooling for a "cold storage", the difference in energy consumption is self-evident.

Natural cooling is more economical

The energy-saving effect of using LCP is not only in the cooling aspect, LCP has a different system called Freecooling (natural cooling system), the inlet temperature of LCP needs to be lower than 15 degrees Celsius, and when the ambient temperature is lower than 15 degrees Celsius, you can not need to circulate the refrigeration equipment to refrigerate the liquid, just use natural cooling to cool. It can be cooled by natural cooling alone. This is all automatically regulated and does not require manual operation.
