Introduction of Fuding Hospital

Fuding Hospital, founded in 1937, is one of the first county-level Grade 3B general hospitals in Fujian Province, integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and preventive health care. It is a teaching hospital of Fujian Medical University, a collaborating hospital of Union Hospital, a collaborating hospital of Provincial Tumor Hospital, a collaborating unit of neurosurgery of the General Hospital of Fuzhou in Nanjing Military Region, a network hospital of the International Emergency Rescue Center of the Ministry of Health, and a designated hospital for medical rescue in traffic accidents in Fujian Province. In 2011, the hospital entered the ranks of "China's top 100 county-level hospital competitiveness".

The hospital covers an area of 20,500 m2, with a building area of 48,496 m2, and the number of beds is 1010 (including 160 beds in Chinese medicine hospital), and the actual number of beds is 1100. There are more than 50 specialties in 20 first-level disciplines and a full range of auxiliary departments. 1400 employees were working in the hospital at the beginning of 2012.
