People's Republic of China (PRC) National Standard, referred to as GB for short, is a national standard code including language coding system issued by the National Standardization Management Committee, a member organization representing People's Republic of China (PRC) in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). For standards published before 1994, the year is represented by two digits. The standard published from 1995 and the year after the standard number were changed to four numbers.
The code name of the mandatory national standard is GB, and the code name of the recommended national standard is GB/T.
The national standard of candy was put forward by China Business Federation.
