Uzbekistan is a landlocked country bordering Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. It is about1000km away from Alashan Pass in China. Uzbekistan is located at 4 1 16' north latitude and 69 13' east longitude. It is a landlocked country in Central Asia, bordering the Aral Sea in the northwest and bordering Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
Plain lowlands account for 80% of the total area, and most of them are located in the Kizilkum desert in the northwest. In the east and south, the western edges of Tianshan Mountains and Giza-Alai Mountains include the famous Fergana Valley and Seraphim-Shang Basin. There are rich valleys and rich natural resources. The main rivers are Amu Darya, Syr Darya and Zeravshan, all of which are inland rivers.
