What is the difference between pse certification and emc certification of adapters?

PSE (Electrical Product Safety & Materials) certification (called "Suitability Inspection" in Japan) is a compulsory market access system for Japanese electrical appliances and an important content stipulated in Japan's Electrical Safety Law. At present, according to the Japanese Electrical Safety Law, the Japanese government divides electrical appliances into "specific electrical appliances" and "non-specific electrical appliances", in which "specific electrical appliances" include 1 15 products; "Non-specific electrical appliances" includes 338 products. PSE includes EMC and security requirements. All products belonging to the catalogue of "Specific Electrical Appliances" must be certified by a third-party certification body authorized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and obtain a certification certificate, with the diamond PSE mark on the label.

Similar to CE certification of products exported to Europe, EMC certification is one of them. If the adapter is exported to Japan, it needs to obtain PSE certification, which meets the EMC certification and safety certification in the corresponding standards.
