Legal analysis: this law is enacted in order to protect, improve and promote the physical health of citizens, prevent the occurrence of mental illnesses, promote the rehabilitation of people with mental illnesses, regulate the work of mental health, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of people with mental illnesses. The mental health work referred to in this law refers to the activities of maintaining and improving the mental health of citizens, preventing and treating mental illnesses, and promoting the rehabilitation of people with mental illnesses.
Legal basis: "Chinese People's **** and the State Mental Health Law" Article 25 to carry out diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, shall have the following conditions, and in accordance with the management of medical institutions to handle the relevant formalities: (a) with the diagnosis of mental disorders engaged in the diagnosis of mental disorders, treatment of psychiatric licensed physicians, nurses; (b) to meet the need to carry out diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, facilities and equipment; (c) have perfect (ii) facilities and equipment to meet the needs of diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders; (iii) a comprehensive management system for diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and a quality control system. Specialized medical institutions engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders should also be equipped with personnel engaged in psychotherapy.
