The main difference between telegraphic transfer and money order is that telegraphic transfer is faster, but the cost is higher than money order. If your remittance amount is large or you are in a hurry to use money, you can use wire transfer; When the remittance amount is small, when the departure time is short, or when the money is not in a hurry, the remittance can be made by bill; Sometimes, foreign recipients may need specific remittance methods, such as applying for foreign schools and paying various registration fees, and usually need to use money orders.
Treatment process
First, wire transfer
To handle wire transfer, you need to fill in the wire transfer application form, which must be filled in English. Before handling business, you need to accurately provide and obtain the following remittance information:
1. Remittance currency and amount;
2. The name and address of the payee;
3. The payee's account number in the bank where the account is opened;
4. The name, SWIFT code or address of the payee's bank.
In order to ensure that the payee receives the money in time, please provide accurate remittance information, leave your contact information at the same time, and keep your remittance receipt so that you can be contacted in time when there is any problem with remittance.
Second, the draft
For remittance, you need to fill in the application form of draft box in English (remittance to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can be filled in Chinese), and you need to provide the following information accurately:
1. Remittance currency and amount;
2. Name and address of the payee.
After completing the remittance formalities, we will give you a draft, which you can mail or take out of the country by yourself.
Friendly reminder: When handling bills, please ask the bank manager whether the payer of the bill is the payee's bank. When you remit US dollars outside the United States, the paying bank may be China Bank new york Branch, and the payee can only receive the remittance after collecting the money through the local bank.
Third, query
If the payee does not receive your remittance in time, you can go to the original remittance counter with your ID card, remittance receipt and charge slip, and we will make an inquiry for you at the first time.
Fourth, return foreign exchange.
After completing the remittance procedure, you can ask for a refund if you change your plan. If the remittance is telegraphic transfer, you can return the remittance with your ID card, remittance receipt and charge sheet before the remittance is credited to the payee's account. If it has been deposited in the payee's account, the remittance can be refunded only after obtaining the consent of the payee. If the remittance is a bill of exchange, you can go through the formalities of remittance refund with your ID card, original bill of exchange, remittance receipt and charge sheet.

If the draft is lost, you should bring your ID card and remittance receipt in time and submit a written application for loss reporting to the original issuing bank. According to your request, we will handle the formalities of reporting the loss and stopping payment for you.
Note: The handling fee and telecommunication fee are charged according to the service price standard published by the bank for handling inquiries, returning foreign exchange and reporting the loss of bills of exchange.
Six, remittance fee
If remittance is made in cash in foreign currency, you need to pay the corresponding remittance difference fee.

Provisions of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange on Individual Remittances of Domestic Residents
Individual residents can handle remittance business for personal overseas payment and investment, including:
1. Current account foreign exchange expenditure: foreign exchange used by individual residents for traveling abroad, visiting relatives, friends, pilgrimage, studying abroad, seeking medical treatment, participating in international academic activities, and being employed for teaching; Pay the membership fees of international academic organizations; Mail order a small amount of medicines and medical devices from abroad; Use of foreign exchange under special circumstances such as illness, death and disaster of immediate family members abroad; Foreign exchange for personal use carried by foreigners and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who have lived in China for more than one year or purchased in China; Other current account foreign exchange expenditure.
2. Remittance from cash account of current account expenditure.
Studying abroad at one's own expense or studying abroad for primary and secondary school students: fill in a written application, and apply for a valid entry visa passport to countries and regions with my household registration certificate and ID card, or a pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao, a formal admission notice from a school outside the country (territory), and the original and photocopy of the charge notice issued by a school outside the country (territory).
Overseas medical treatment: fill in a written application, and with my household registration certificate and ID card, complete a valid entry visa passport to countries and regions, or a Hong Kong and Macao pass or a Hong Kong and Macao pass, a certificate from a local (city)-level hospital, a doctor's opinion, an original and a copy of an overseas hospital's admission certificate and a charge notice.
Payment of membership fees for international academic organizations: fill in a written application, and handle it with my household registration certificate and ID card, and the original and photocopy of documents of international academic organizations.
Mail-order a small amount of drugs, medical devices and other special foreign exchange from abroad: fill in a written application, and handle it with my household registration certificate and ID card, and the certificate of the local (city) hospital with the original and photocopy of the doctor's prescription.
Use of foreign exchange under special circumstances, such as serious illness, death, sudden disasters, etc., for immediate family members abroad: fill in a written application, and handle it with my household registration certificate and ID card, the valid certificate of an overseas notary office or the original and photocopy of the certificate of Chinese embassies and consulates abroad.
3. The remittance amount shall not exceed the standard indicated on the relevant supporting documents provided.
Foreign exchange remittance of current account expenditures of domestic individuals shall be handled in accordance with the following provisions:
If the accumulated foreign exchange in the foreign exchange savings account on the day of remittance abroad is less than $50,000 (inclusive), I will go to the bank with my valid identity certificate; If it exceeds the above amount, it shall be handled with the authenticity certificate of the transaction amount under the current account.
Hand-held foreign currency cash with a cumulative equivalent of less than $654.38 million on the remittance day shall be handled at the bank with my valid identity certificate; If the amount exceeds the above amount, it shall be handled by the authenticity certificate of the transaction amount under the current account, the Declaration Form for Luggage and Articles of Inbound Passengers in People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Customs signed by the customs, or the foreign currency cash withdrawal certificate of my original bank.
Foreign exchange remittance of current account of overseas individuals shall be handled in the bank according to the following provisions:
The remittance of foreign exchange in the foreign exchange savings account shall be handled with my valid identity certificate.
Remittance of foreign currency cash by hand, with the cumulative equivalent of $654.38+$00000 or less on the same day, shall be handled with my valid identity certificate; If the amount exceeds the above amount, I should also provide the Declaration Form for Luggage and Articles of Inbound Passengers in People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Customs signed by the Customs or the foreign currency cash withdrawal document of my original bank.
