I believe that many of my friends here are already thinking about what kind of movies they can watch in place of waiting anxiously, so I'm going to introduce you all with some of my recent collection of movies that are close to, or similar to, what I'm looking for. I hope to help you (which does not involve "Heroes" and a few other popular, because it is sci-fi can not be compared, in addition, I do not like sci-fi), if you think it is good please help me cover the floor, thank you~
First of all, "The Shawshank Redemption", it is said that the "Prison Break" is the TV version of it (may be a joke), but there are a lot of deja vu plot:
"The prison governor is in the prison, and the prison guards are in the prison, the prison guards are in the prison. p>"What the warden sees in the safe where he keeps his small ledger is a Bible Andy left behind, and the hollowed-out part inside holds this crane hoe with an almost rounded head."
----------------------------- Do you remember that long bolt from Scrooge? Here's the plot:
The Shawshank Redemption (The Shawshank Redemption)
The story takes place in 1947 when Andy, a banker, kills his wife and her lover with a gun because she was having an affair, so he is accused of shooting his wife and her lover and Andy is sentenced to life in prison, which means he will be in Shawshank prison for the rest of his life.
Arry was sentenced to life in prison for murder in 1927 and was unsuccessfully paroled several times. He's now the "authority figure" at Schoenecker, and as long as you can afford it, he can get you almost anything you want: cigarettes, candy, booze, even marijuana. Whenever a new prisoner arrives, there are bets on who will cry on the first night. Arry thought weak, bookish Andy would cry, and Andy's silence ended up costing him four packs of cigarettes. But it also made Arry look at him differently.
For a long time, Andy didn't contact anyone, and while everyone reported their complaints, he took very leisurely walks in the yard, as if he were in a park. After a month, the first thing Andy asked Arry to help him with was a small crane hoe, explaining that he wanted to carve something small to pass the time and saying he'd find a way to escape the prison's routine inspections on his own. Before long, Arry was playing chess with Andy's carving. After that, Andy made a huge poster of Rita Hayworth. Hayworth's huge poster on the wall of his cell.
On one occasion, Andy was out working with some other prisoners when he overheard the prison officer talking about taxes. Andy said he had a way to get the prison officials to legally waive the big tax, and in exchange he secured two bottles of Tiger beer for each of his dozen inmate friends. Drinking the beer, Arry said he felt free again for the first time in years.
Andy's knowledge of the financial system soon freed him from the heavy physical labor and harassment of other perverted inmates in the prison. Soon, Andy's reputation began to grow as a tax advisor to more and more guards, and even his children came to him for advice on their schooling. At the same time, Andy gradually becomes an important tool in the money laundering of Warden Walden, the warden of Shawneeks prison. Thanks to Andy's incessant letters to the governor, a small amount of money was finally applied for the prison for the construction of the prison library. Prison life is very dull and one always has to find something to do on one's own. Andy heard that Arry used to love playing the harmonica, so he bought one and gave it to him. Late at night, the melodious and slight sound of the harmonica could be heard echoing through the prison.
A young inmate arrives and shatters Andy's peaceful prison life: the inmate has heard about Andy's case before, when he was serving time in another prison, and he knows who the real killer is! But when Andy asks the warden to reopen the case, he is flatly refused and severely punished with two months in solitary confinement. In order to prevent Andy's release, the prison goes to great lengths to engineer the death of the man who knows!
Faced with the cruel reality, Andy became very depressed ...... One day, he said to Ari: "If one day you can get parole, you must go somewhere to fulfill a wish for me. That's where I had my first date with my wife. Dig up a box under a big oak tree there. You'll know what it is then." That night, with rain, wind and thunder, Andy, who had been saved by his soul, broke out of prison.
It turns out that for twenty years, Andy had been digging holes every day with the little crane-billed hoe, and then covering the holes with posters. After Andy was released from prison, he claimed some of the black money deposited by the warden and ratted out the truth about the warden's corruption and bribery. What the warden saw in the safe where he kept his small ledger was a Bible Andy had left behind, and the hollowed-out part inside held this crane hoe with an almost rounded head.
Arry is released, he finds a box of cash under an oak tree, and the two old friends are finally reunited on a sunny Mexican beachfront.

Then Prison Break (OZ) is recommended, maybe it's all the Prison, and maybe there's a glimpse of those guys from Prison Break in there, too, see the intro:
Prison Break (OZ)
HBO's violent, depiction of prison life is an addictive, hormone-scrambling soap opera. The eight episodes of the first season set the tone for the entire series: a large cast of realistic characters inside and outside the bars, four or five stories that move at a fast and breathless pace with angry and quirky asides and dramatically increasing mortality rates. Created by Homicide producer Tom Fontana, the series quickly earned the title of "Most Violent TV Show". It's a simple chemical reaction: combine explosive elements in a confined, sealed container and shake it up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next up were "24" and "Lost. Lost" (LOST), this is also the most clamored for online to replace "Prison Break", see the introduction:
"24 Hours to Counter Terrorism"
The story takes place in 24 hours a day, counter-terrorism team agent Jack Bauer is the centerpiece of the drama, around him, the intricate relationship between his wife, daughter, the president, colleagues, terrorists, government officials, and intertwine into an overwhelming web. First, someone tries to assassinate the president (Season 1), but behind this assassination is a plot that has been buried for many years. This is no longer just a fight against terrorism and political intrigue, it is a test of humanity. One year later (Season 2), on another sleepless day, a nuclear bomb will be detonated by terrorists in Los Angeles, and the President is faced with a difficult choice - is a military strike the best response to show America's fortitude and determination? And Jack Bauer's investigation will provide the President with the final answer. As for the soon-to-be-born Season 3, the enemies there, supposedly, are horrific bioweapons, ruthless drug lords and an even more intractable White House coup ......
This is a hit TV series with only two seasons under its belt so far (Season 3 will begin airing in the U.S. this October), and while there are no big names (Kiefer Sutherland has, over the years has been languishing below the second tier of Hollywood) joining the cast, but missing it will be a regret you'll have trouble making up. Putting aside the show's implicitly chauvinistic ideas of great power and individual heroism, 24 certainly has irrefutable strengths in terms of a TV series' accomplishments alone. This brilliant script, which skillfully combines the 24 hours of a day with the broadcast cycle of an American TV series in minutes and seconds, has accomplished a revolution in the creativity of TV series structure. In the second season, Palmer's presidential image has been further strengthened (this "philosopher king"-like leader can only be found in two places - in ancient Greece and in American TV shows). In relation to the reality of American current events, you will find that the movie's mapping of "911" and the "Iraq War" is so strong! If "Titanic" was the last Hollywood movie bomb at the end of the last century, then "24" is the first nuclear bomb of the 21st century American TV series!

"CSI" (Crime Scene Investigation)
"CSI" is set in Las Vegas and is based on a real-life story of how a criminal investigator from the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) solves crimes by obtaining evidence at the scene of the crime. The investigators, who famously say "dead bodies talk," use fingerprints, shoe prints, bullet casings, blood, hair, fibers, body wounds, and other tiny pieces of evidence that are carefully analyzed and researched to find the key to solving the case.
The process of solving the mystery is quite fascinating. The drama also reconstructs the scene of the victim's murder, filming how the bullet traveled through the body and how the blood vessels and organs were destroyed, in a breathtakingly realistic landscape. With such a meticulous approach to crime solving, even those who have the guts to commit a crime will have to think twice before taking the law into their own hands.
The CBS ace program, which won the 59th Golden Globe Award for "Best Series," starred in "Alien" and won the Best Actress Award with the show. In addition, the program was nominated for six Emmy Awards, was selected as one of the "Ten Best TV Movie Series" in the United States in 2002, and the ratings champion of the United States CBS television network in that year, which can be said to be a collection of three thousand favorites in one.
The program is more episodic and suspenseful than traditional criminal reporting. CSI's dedicated consultant, Elizabeth DeVane, is a former crime scene investigator who worked for the Los Angeles Department of Safety for 15 years. The 41-year-old Devane is credited with the program's high ratings. In addition, "CSI" has become an essential study for police in the U.S., and even Scotland Yard in Britain, the Japanese Security Agency and the French police see it as a counterterrorism textbook.
The Closer
"They take you in, and she'll make you tell all"
Blonde bombshell Brenda Leigh Johnson is a LAPD deputy chief who's transferred to Los Angeles from Atlanta. The department that she works for is the LAPD which primarily handles high-profile and very sensitive murder cases. How will Brenda, at the top of her game in this male-dominated field, take on a group of tough, hard-charging men? And how does she get these big, proud men to stand up for her in times of crisis?
Brenda's talents will only be realized when you walk into that interrogation room. It doesn't matter how solid your mouth is, if you have a secret, the beautiful Brenda will keep you talking.
RETURNING IN 2006
In the heated month of June, the beautiful Brenda returns to TNT, where Sedgwick's Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominated debut for "The Closer" brought the beautiful blonde to the forefront of everyone's mind with its high ratings. Brenda inside the show is smart and witty when faced with a case, but the beautiful director who stands tall isn't perfect, her own room is a mess, lacks a sense of direction, and likes to eat a small piece of dessert after getting a suspect to pour out secrets. Why did The Closer get such high ratings? Distinguished producer James Duff explains, "Kyra Sedgwick brought Brenda to life and made her one of us."
Returning Highlights
Viewers who love Brenda's personality are in for a treat, as the returning episodes of Season 2 will center on heroine Brenda's personal challenges, and we'll get to see more about the people close to Brenda as well as Brenda's towering "Boss," while Brenda's love will face even more challenges. Brenda will have to pull out all the stops if she wants to keep the reigns on these proud men and keep them working hard. As the cases mount and the challenges continue, Brenda's life is torn between the cases and herself.
People say a beautiful woman is a vase, so let's see how the highly intelligent beauty turns that quaint fallacy on its head in its returning second season.
The Pretender
There are some of us who can disguise ourselves, geniuses who can disguise themselves as any kind of person, and in 1963, a group called The Center isolated one such pretender, a boy named Jerry, and used his brain to conduct research - and later, the pretender's brain was used for research. The masquerader later escaped. ..... Each episode of TP begins with these poignant words, and after a powerful opening and closing credits sequence, Jarod the Pretender, a lone warrior who travels the world to deliver justice, takes us into a new and thrilling tale of punishment for evil and good.
Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS)
NCIS stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which translates directly to Naval Crime Investigation Agency. This special division of the Pentagon specializes in the investigation of any crime associated with the Navy as well as the Marine Corps. The NCIS team encounters a wide variety of cases, ranging from murder, narcotics, espionage, counterterrorism, and even occult religions.
Though also produced by the CBS network, NCIS is very different from CBS's other ace show, CSI, in that it focuses on a single case per episode; whereas CIS focuses on the collection and investigation of evidence of a crime, NCIS focuses on the mystery of the case, and on the strong personalities of its main characters. One of the most iconic cases from the beginning of the second season is a military helicopter parked in the middle of a wheat field, with the wheat field around the helicopter falling down in a circle. The Marines piloting the helicopter are nowhere to be found, a start that makes viewers think of aliens. But NCIS isn't The X-Files after all, and the truth of the matter has to be brought back to real life. Several long line of characters with distinct personalities are also another major selling point of NCIS to attract viewers. From the head of the investigation division, Jeebus, to the smallest of a coroner's assistant, each member of NCIS has a special personality that is different from the others. In this way, every viewer can find his or her favorite character in the show.
Without A Trace
Without A Trace is the story of the FBI's Missing Persons Unit. With the sole mission of pulling the strings of a victim's life through the application of psychoanalytic techniques and reconstructing the Missing Day Timeline, which is a very detailed description of every minute of the 24 hours leading up to the disappearance of the missing person, this special unit follows the principle that in order to find out where the victim is, you must first know the victim. This is the 4th year that Without a Trace has been on the air, CBS did not expect this show to have such high ratings when it first launched, I'm afraid that a show about the FBI's Missing Persons Unit would have such a hot scene, which is something that the production didn't expect, maybe it's the story, maybe it's the Missing Persons Unit, but it's just so intriguing anyway.
Cold Case
Lily Rush (Katherine Morris) is the only female detective in the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Investigation Unit. Assigned by her superiors to investigate cases that have been unsolved for years, Lily finds the task very manageable. Previously, she used an instinctive sense of the criminal's psyche to track down the case. Now all she has to do is question witnesses in those unsolved cases, and despite the passage of time, the use of confessions and new technology to find clues, all of which she finds intriguing. Of course, she has to be prepared for something else: her work will tear open old scars and perhaps force certain suspects to commit new crimes. But no matter what, Lily is determined not to let a single criminal escape justice.
In times of frustration, Lily always turns to her predecessor, John Stillman, for advice. Side by side with her*** are Will Jeffries, whose years of experience on the job will always give Lily more clues to solving the case; the key man, Nick Villa, who always gets the confession she needs in a pinch; and her trusty sidekick, Scotty Vallens.
The Search for Bones
Bones is inspired by the real life of courtroom anthropologist and longtime novelist Kathy Reichs. The main character, Dr. TEMPERANCE Brennan, is a courtroom anthropologist who works for the Jeffersonian Society and writes novels as a sideline due to a special talent for finding clues based on the bones of her victims that would be difficult for a normal person to discover. Brennan, who is court-mandated to assist the police in solving homicide cases in which the body is so badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed that ordinary autopsy methods are ineffective, has equally talented colleagues in the Jeffersonian Society's Forensic Science Laboratory, including Angela Montenegro, a woman who enjoys picking up hot guys and recreating the original crime scene with three-dimensional graphic simulations. Brennan's assistant, Zack Addy, who has a frighteningly high IQ and has taken several Ph.D.'s at the same time, and Jack Hodgins, who is an expert on insects, spores, and ores, but enjoys scheming. Then there's Brennan's boss, lab director Dr. Daniel Goodman.Brennan also often has to deal with Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former army sniper who doesn't have a lot of faith in science or scientists when it comes to solving cases.Brennan and Booth often have friction at work and in life, but dramatically, it's not the not a foe, but between the two end up with a marvelous spark ......
