Garbage is mainly divided into recyclable garbage, harmful waste, kitchen garbage (wet garbage) and other garbage (dry garbage).
Recyclable materials generally refer to five categories: waste paper, plastic, glass, metal and cloth. Waste paper mainly includes books, periodicals and all kinds of wrapping paper. Plastic refers to all kinds of plastic bags and plastic tableware; Glass refers to all kinds of glass bottles; Metal objects refer to cans, cans, etc.
Other garbage (dry garbage) refers to garbage other than recyclable garbage, harmful waste and kitchen garbage (wet garbage). These wastes contain brick and tile ceramics, muck, toilet waste paper and other wastes that are difficult to recycle.
Kitchen waste (wet waste) refers to food waste such as leftovers, bones and peels. This kind of garbage is perishable and can be degraded naturally, so it is usually composted.
Hazardous waste refers to heavy metals and toxic substances harmful to human health. This kind of rubbish includes batteries, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, mercury thermometers and expired drugs.
