Shanghai Science and Energy Conservation Exhibition Center

It was an accident that I met this museum. I had something to do before and after, so I could only finish it in a very short time, and I didn't have time to look at a lot of things.

This museum is currently the largest domestic display area, the most complete exhibition, display the most advanced public welfare energy saving and new energy technology products science and technology display platform.

The purpose of its dissemination is to publicize the concept of "limited resources, unlimited energy saving, unlimited development"; at the same time, in order to promote and facilitate the development of energy saving, environmental protection and new energy industry. The display area involves industry, construction, transportation, life and new energy and other fields.

As soon as you enter the exhibition hall, on the right side is the energy flow map of Shanghai, which shows the status of energy use in Shanghai.

Immediately after that, there is a green road, which shows the history of environmental protection and energy saving industry.

After the green road, you will enter each exhibition area: industrial energy saving area, transportation energy saving area, new energy area, building energy saving area, home energy saving area, new product release area.

The new energy zone and the green road echo each other, symbolizing the future of the green road is new energy; at the same time they are located in the central axis, while the other exhibition areas are located on both sides of the central axis, there is a kind of with the development of energy derived from the industrial energy saving, energy saving in transportation, and so on, but also a kind of deduction through the various sections to explain the meaning of the development of energy, detail.

The new energy zone includes wind, nuclear and biomass energy, as well as smart grids.

(I) Industrial Energy Efficiency Zone

The exhibition area ranges from macro to micro, focusing on low-carbon recycling economy parks such as Shanghai Lingang Industrial Zone and Chemical Industry Zone, systematic energy saving cases in high-energy-carrying industries such as iron and steel, petrochemicals, and electric power, as well as advanced energy-saving technologies and products.

The industrial energy-saving zone includes several parts such as simulated factories, key industries, power generation, transmission and distribution, boiler steam, and end-use electricity.

1. Simulation Factory

The simulation factory restores the energy-saving points of industrial energy utilization process and equipment system operation, management and renovation through movies.

2. Key Industries

It mainly introduces the important industrial parks in Shanghai.

3. Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Boiler and Steam

The facilities and equipment of power generation, transmission and distribution, boiler and steam, as well as their operation principles are introduced through models, graphics and multimedia interpretation.

4. Terminal Power Consumption

It introduces some energy-saving measures for terminal power consumption.

(2) Transportation Energy Efficiency Zone

The Transportation Energy Efficiency Zone is divided into two parts: the Remanufacturing Industry Zone and the Hybrid Zone.

It mainly introduces the industrial zone for automobile remanufacturing.

And the new energy technology and energy-saving environmental protection technology adopted in the process of automobile and automobile manufacturing and so on.

And there are some daily driving energy-saving tips on the columns of the exhibition area, which can be said to be very thoughtful.

(3) Youth Experience Zone

The Youth Checkup Zone includes a capillary experience zone, an energy-saving contest, and a low-carbon roaming tour.

1. Capillary experience area

There is a student work experience area, which is full of student-made works related to environmental protection and energy saving, I checked one of them, which is beautifully made and meaningful.

There are also low-carbon technology roadmaps and so on.

2. Energy Saving Competition

The Energy Saving Competition is a series of interactive mechanical exhibits that allow young people to learn about energy saving measures. Because the entire area is geared towards the popularization of science among young people, the exhibits are set up in an interesting and lively manner, easy to understand, and can give people food for thought and inspiration to be applied in real life.

3. Low-carbon roaming

Low-carbon roaming is a ring screen with interactive bicycles, because the multimedia equipment was not turned on at that time, so it is not very clear what the content is.

(D) Building Energy Efficiency Zone

Building Energy Efficiency Zone consists of two parts: envelope energy saving and central air conditioning.

1. Envelope energy saving

Including the old window renovation, indoor environmental insulation, fresh air system, insulation system and elevator environmental protection and many other aspects.

2. Central air conditioning

The concept of central air conditioning here is more of a big concept of air conditioning, which refers to how to use the outside world's resources to regulate the indoor temperature.

(E) Home Energy Saving Zone

Some home energy saving facilities are shown.

Then it calls on everyone to come together for environmental protection and energy saving.

Finally, there is a time corridor to introduce the history of lighting.

There was actually a new product display area at the end, but I didn't get to see it due to time constraints.

As I was writing this article and analyzing the pavilion, I realized that the flow of my visit seemed to be reversed. According to the designer's thinking it should be: homes - buildings - youth - transportation - industry, so that the The order is from small to large, starting with objects around people, letting the audience understand the energy-saving industry, then expanding to buildings, cities, etc., and finally ending with a movie. This is a logical way of doing things.

Secondly, in terms of content, it is a very comprehensive and systematic introduction to the energy efficiency industry, but I think it may lack a sublimation part.

In terms of form, there is multimedia and mechanical interaction, which is more interesting.

In the end, it is really lucky to come across such a pavilion at an unexpected time and in an unexpected place.
