Sources of Funds of the Overseas Chinese Development Foundation of China
1. donations;
2. interest income on the principal of the fund;
3. income from activities or services within the approved scope of business;
4. other lawful income.
The funds of the China Overseas Chinese Development Foundation must be used for the business scope and career development as stipulated in the Articles of Association, and may not be distributed among the directors and staff. The Overseas Chinese Development Foundation establishes a strict financial management system to ensure that the accounting information is legal, true, accurate and complete. The Overseas Chinese Development Foundation is equipped with accountants with professional qualifications. Accountants may not serve as cashiers at the same time. Accounting personnel must carry out accounting and implement accounting supervision. When accounting personnel transfer their jobs or leave their jobs, they must complete the handover procedures with the receiver. The fund management of the Overseas Chinese Development Foundation must implement the prescribed financial management system, accept the supervision of the council and the financial department, and publicize the relevant information to the society. The Overseas Chinese Development Foundation must accept the financial audit organized by the designated accounting firm before the change of term or the exchange of legal representatives. The funds of the Overseas Chinese Development Foundation shall not be appropriated, privatized or misappropriated by any unit or individual. The salaries, insurance and welfare benefits of the full-time staff of the Overseas Chinese Development Foundation shall be implemented with reference to the relevant provisions.
