What are the female reproductive organs? What does the female reproductive system include?

It should be said that most women probably don't know much about reproductive organs, and they don't know which parts of their bodies are related to fertility. This will easily lead to the damage of reproductive organs by women, which may affect fertility. What are the female reproductive organs? What does the female reproductive system include?

1, female internal genitalia

(1) ovary

Structure: oval, one left and one right, located on both sides of the uterus in the pelvic cavity, opposite to the flat oval structure.

Function: Its function is to produce mature eggs and secrete female hormones (estrogen and progesterone). Estrogen can promote the growth and development of female reproductive organs and the emergence of secondary sexual characteristics. Progesterone (also known as progesterone) can promote the growth of endometrium, thus ensuring the implantation of fertilized eggs and maintaining pregnancy.

(2) Fallopian tube

Structure: The fallopian tube is connected to both sides of the bottom of the uterus, and it is a curved tube that transports eggs into the uterus. It is about 10 ~ 12 cm long. The tube end is open in the peritoneal cavity, and there are many finger-like protrusions on the free edge of the opening, which are called oviduct umbrella and cover the ovarian surface. The thinner part near the end of the uterus is called isthmus, and the larger part outside is called ampulla (where the egg is fertilized).

Function: The tubal wall is also composed of mucosa, muscularis and adventitia. Mucosal epithelium is a monolayer columnar ciliated epithelium. Cilia have the function of swinging. The peristalsis of muscular layer and the oscillation of cilia are helpful for fertilized eggs to enter the uterine cavity.

(3) uterus

Structure: The uterus is located in the center of pelvic cavity and surrounded by ligaments. The front part is connected with the female private parts through the cervix, and the two sides are connected with the ovary through the fallopian tubes. It is inverted pear-shaped, with a normal volume of about 7.5*4.5*2.5cm and a uterine cavity volume of about 5ml. Function: It is the organ that produces menstruation and gestates the fetus.

(4) Female private parts

Structure: Female private parts are muscle ducts, about 6 ~ 8 cm long. The front wall of female private parts is close to bladder and urethra, and the back wall is close to rectum. The upper end of the female privates is wrapped around the lower part of the cervix, and an annular depression is formed between them, which is called the fornix of the female privates. The posterior vault of female private parts is deeper. The lower part of female private parts is opened in the vestibule of female private parts.

Function: Female private parts are the same organ, the passage of menstrual blood discharge and fetal delivery.

2. Female external genitalia uterus

(1) Yin Fu

Structure: The pubic colliculus is a fat pad protruding before the pubic symphysis. Pubic hairs begin to grow on the skin in adolescence and are distributed in a triangle with downward tips.

Function: The rich adipose tissue under the pubic mound and pubic hair on the skin play the role of support, shock absorption and buffering when in the same room. Touching the pubic mound or gently kneading it can play a role in sexual stimulation, and rubbing the pubic mound between men and women can make women have sexual pleasure.

(2) Female private parts

Structure: in front of the vestibule of female private parts, between the labia minora on both sides, it is a spongy tissue rich in nerve endings.

Function: This is the most important lovely area, and caressing this organ will cause a strong sexual response.

(3) labia majora

Structure: It is a pair of raised skin folds near the inner side of the two strands, and the labia majora on both sides of unmarried women are naturally closed, covering the female private parts and urethral orifice. The labia majora of multipara is separated to both sides due to the influence of delivery.

Function: protect female private parts and avoid infection.

(4) labia minora

Structure: It is a pair of thin folds located inside the labia majora, with moist surface and abundant nerve endings, so it is extremely sensitive. The front ends of the labia minora on both sides merge with each other and are divided into two leaves, which wrap the female private parts. The anterior lobe forms the foreskin of female private parts, and the posterior lobe forms the frenum of female private parts.

(5) vestibule of female private parts

Structure: The vestibule of female private parts is a prismatic area between two labia minora. In this area, the urethra is in front and the opening of female private parts is behind. There are also frontcourt balls and vestibular glands in this area. The frontcourt ball, also known as the corpus cavernosum, can be erected. Its front part is connected with female private parts, and its back part is adjacent to vestibular glands. Its surface is covered by the muscles of the corpus cavernosum. Vestibular glands, also known as papillary glands, are located behind labia majora and are also covered by cavernous muscles, such as soybeans, one left and one right.

Function: yellow and white mucus is secreted during sexual excitement, which plays a lubricating role. This gland should not be touched during normal examination.

3. Warm reminder

During the period of official holidays, the vulva should be cleaned with warm water and sanitary napkins should be changed frequently to prevent blood stains from becoming a culture medium for bacteria. Do not use chemicals such as alkaline soap or potassium permanganate when cleaning, so as not to change the normal acidic environment of female private parts. Some women use various lotions to clean their private parts for a long time, and some women even use tap water to clean their private parts when taking a bath. None of this is desirable. Women's private parts are in an acidic environment and have a self-cleaning effect. Long-term use of various lotions to clean women's private parts will kill Bacillus in women's private parts, reduce local resistance and increase the chance of infection.
