Operation method of automatic gastric lavage machine
1) Prepare all the supplies and bring them to the patient's bedside, check the patient, explain the manipulation objectives and methods to obtain cooperation.
2) Turn on the power, check the function of the automatic gastric lavage machine, and adjust the drug flow.
3) Connect the pipes, put the pre-prepared gastric lavage liquid into the bucket, separate the three rubber tubes and connect them with the mechanical inlet tube (medication tube), the stomach tube and the sewage tube port; put the other end of the liquid inlet tube into the bucket of the lavage liquid, and the mouth of the pipe should be submerged below the liquid level, and the other end of the sewage tube should be put into an empty bucket, and the patient should insert a gastric tube after inserting the gastric tube, and then the other end of the gastric tube is connected with the gastric lavage tube.
4) Help the patient to choose the appropriate position, lay the rubberized cloth and medical towel, take out the removable denture, and place the curved plate and sewage bucket in place. Measure the length of the cannula so that the anterior portion of the gastric tube is smooth, pull out the gastric tube, make sure that the gastric tube is firmly in the stomach, and connect it to the gastric tube of the gastric lavage machine.
5) Press the "hand suction" button to aspirate the stomach contents and retain a sample for examination if necessary.
6) In the process of gastric lavage, if you find that the pipe is clogged, the water flow slows down, does not flow, or there are problems, the guar can be repeatedly pressed the "hand flush" and "hand suction" button several times until the pipe passes; and then press the "hand suction" button. Then press the "hand suction" key. The "action" key will first suck out the gastric fluid, and then press the "active" key to stop gastric lavage.
7) At the end of the gastric lavage, the end of the gastric tube is wrapped with gauze.
8) Clean up the bed unit, help the patient clean up the mouth and face, liquidize the supplies, record.
