Jiangcheng District People's Court recently made a first-instance judgment on the case of dens owner Wu X's illegal production and operation of dentures, and found Wu X guilty of illegal operation.
It is reported that Wu X illegally produced dentures without obtaining the Medical Device Manufacturing Enterprise License and the Medical Device Registration Certificate. According to the investigation, from the dens to the crime, the sales amount reached more than 700,000 yuan. Jiangcheng District People's Court held that Wu X, the owner of dens, ignored national laws and deliberately engaged in illegal business activities, disrupting market order, and the circumstances were serious, which constituted the crime of illegal business operations. According to the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), Wu X was sentenced to one year's imprisonment, suspended for one year and six months, and fined 30,000 yuan.
