Shanghai Medicine Higher Vocational College
In September 2005 by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government approved the official establishment of the school. Shanghai Higher Institute of Medical Devices
Shanghai Higher Institute of Medical Devices was founded in 1960 by the Ministry of Health of the Central Government, successively under the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Affairs, the State Food and Drug Administration, and then under the management of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government in 2000. It is the only independent higher vocational college specializing in the cultivation of high-skilled talents for medical devices, with the main focus on the modern equipment manufacturing industry in China. Shanghai Higher Institute of Tourism was founded in 1979 as "Shanghai Travel and Tourism College" under Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office. 1980, the Ministry of Education approved the name change to "Shanghai Tourism College". 1983, it was renamed "Shanghai Tourism College". Shanghai Civil Aviation Vocational and Technical College
The college covers an area of 181 acres, with more than 140,000 square meters of building area and all kinds of teaching instruments and equipments valued at nearly 60 million yuan; there are 14 professional training rooms, and the collection of books and e-books reaches more than 200,000 books, which provides good resources for teachers and students of the whole school for learning, education and research. Shanghai College of Arts and Crafts is an independent higher vocational college of art and design approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Education.
