Article 2 stipulates that:
Market entities referred to in these regulations refer to the following natural persons, legal persons, and unincorporated organizations that engage in business activities for the purpose of profit within the territory of the People's Republic of China*** and the State of China:
(1) corporations, unincorporated enterprise legal persons and their branches;
(ii) sole proprietorships, partnerships and their branches;
(iii) farmers' specialized cooperatives (associations) and their branches;
(iv) individual industrial and commercial enterprises;
(v) branches of foreign corporations;
(vi) other market entities stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
Article 7 stipulates:
The market supervision and administration departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level shall be in charge of the administration of the registration of market entities under their jurisdiction, and shall strengthen the overall guidance and supervision and inspection.
The Law of the People's Republic of China on Practicing Physicians
Article 13 provides:
The state implements a registration system for practicing physicians. Those who have obtained the qualification of physician may apply for registration to the administrative department of health of the people's government at or above the county level where they are located. The health administrative department accepting the application shall grant registration within thirty days from the date of receipt of the application, and issue a certificate of physician practice uniformly printed by the health administrative department of the State Council.
