Have casualties been found in Qinghai's Zeku M4.9 quake?

No casualties have been found in the M4.9 magnitude earthquake epicenter in Zeku County, Qinghai Province, as of now, and the interrupted power supply has been fully restored. According to the Qinghai Provincial Seismic Network, the M4.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in Zeku County, Huangnan Prefecture, Qinghai Province, at 2:54 p.m. (Beijing time) on Dec. 15, 2017 (101.87 degrees east longitude, 35.13 degrees north latitude).

According to the State Grid Qinghai Electric Power Company, the earthquake caused 1,901 households to be without power, and the relevant departments quickly launched an emergency response, with power supply employees braving temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius to repair the problem overnight for 3 hours and 15 minutes, and then basically restored power supply at 06:10. To the day 13:39, due to the earthquake caused by the power outage users have been fully restored to the power supply.

The epicenter of the earthquake was about 38 kilometers from the county seat of Zeku County, about 45 kilometers from the county seat of Tongren County, and about 50 kilometers from the county seat of Henan Mongolian Autonomous County. Within 30 kilometers from the epicenter are four townships, including Duohe Mao Township, Maixiu Township, Xibusha Township and Zamao Township, and 21 villages, including Xiuga Village.

According to the Qinghai Provincial Seismological Bureau, the first batch of on-site teams sent by the bureau conducted preliminary investigations in Maixiu Township and Duohemao Township. In the nearest to the epicenter of the Duohemao Township investigation found that Duohemao Township a few brick, adobe structure houses slightly damaged; highway along the mountain more debris rolled down, very few locations have a slight landslide phenomenon.
