Why are more and more people reluctant to work in factories?

One is that they feel undignified and dishonored, and feel that they have a low status.

Two, the wages are low and unattractive.

Third, it is boring, which makes many young people reluctant to learn skills and choose another way of life.

Fourth, when choosing a job, young people pay more attention to their personal values and prefer challenging jobs.

Fifth, production in many companies is highly automated, and workers don't learn many skills, so brain drain has become the norm.

Sixth, there is little room for technicians to grow and little room for advancement.

Overtime, no double breaks

Everyone knows that most of a factory's paycheck is paid by overtime.

Eight hours a day, two to three hours of work, a day's pay is one and a half times the usual, 12 hours a day of meals, most of the time not even an hour.

The factory provides lunch and dinner for half an hour each, some even ten minutes. Pay is doubled every Saturday and there is no work on Sundays.

In accordance with labor laws, there are eight-hour days off and overtime pay. Of course, these are only available in normal factories.

So, in a factory, it's 12 hours a day, six workdays, one workday. In fact, that's a default practice, that's what the leaders won't agree to.

In fact, if a company breaks the law and extends an employee's hours, then the employees have a legal right to do so.

According to China's current labor law, employers can work appropriate overtime due to work needs, but under the premise of ensuring the health of workers, the maximum number of hours of work per day should not exceed three hours, and overtime work exceeding a cumulative total of 36 hours per month is a violation of the law, and workers can go to the Labor Inspection Department to file a complaint.

1. If you work overtime on a working day, you must be paid 1.5 times your salary.

2. If you ask to work overtime on a rest day, the company has to pay 2 times your salary.

3. If you work overtime on a legal holiday, you have to pay 3 times your salary.

According to the current law, workers work 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. Workers who find that a company has violated the law by working overtime can bring up legal weapons to defend their rights and interests.

Minimum wage

In many people's eyes, the factory doesn't pay much, just four or five thousand dollars a month. You have to work more than ten hours a day to earn a few thousand dollars. Many people say that a friend of theirs, who has been working in the factory for a few months, already has a yellow face and dull eyes, and doesn't go to work for a day with a listless look.

Working in factories, overtime can be paid overtime, and many people work all night for overtime pay, which can damage their health. Workers in factories are basically paid the provincial, municipal and district minimum wage and overtime, and there are even awards for perfect attendance and performance.

If an employer withholds or pays less than the local minimum wage without a valid reason, it is up to him or her to apply for mediation, arbitration, or file a lawsuit in accordance with the law.

"According to Article 85 of the Labor Contract Law, if an employee's wages are lower than the local minimum wage standard, the difference should be paid; and if the wages are overdue, the employer should double the compensation to the employee in accordance with the standard of 50% to 100% of the total amount of wages payable."
