45℃-135℃
The heat resistant temperature range of PC materials is -45℃-135℃. Beyond this temperature range, PC materials will age and deteriorate, losing their inherent properties.
Polycarbonate colorless and transparent, heat-resistant, impact-resistant, flame retardant BI level, in the ordinary use of temperature have good mechanical properties. With performance close to polymethyl methacrylate compared to polycarbonate, polycarbonate impact resistance, high refractive index, good processing performance, do not need additives with UL94 V-2 flame retardant properties. However, polymethylmethacrylate is less expensive than polycarbonate, and large devices can be produced by the method of intrinsic polymerization.
The abrasion resistance of the material is relative, to compare the ABS material with the PC material, that is, the PC material has better abrasion resistance. However, compared to most plastic materials, the wear resistance of polycarbonate is relatively poor, in the lower level, so some of the polycarbonate devices used for wear and tear purposes require special treatment of the surface.
Expanded Information:
The main advantages
1, mechanical properties: high strength, fatigue resistance, dimensional stability, creep is also small (high temperature conditions are also rarely changed);
2, heat aging resistance: enhanced UL temperature index of 120 ~ 140 ℃ (outdoor long-term aging is also very good);
3, solvent resistance: no stress cracking;
4, water stability: water at high temperatures is easy to decompose (high temperature and high humidity environment should be used with caution);
5, insulating properties: excellent (moisture, high temperature can also maintain the stability of electrical properties, is the manufacture of electronic and electrical parts of the ideal material);
6, dielectric coefficient: 3.0-3.2;
7, arc resistance: 120s;
8, molding processability: ordinary equipment injection molding or extrusion.
