What are the components of UPS uninterruptible power supply?

UPS power system consists of five parts: main circuit, bypass, battery and other power input circuits, rectifier (rec) for AC /DC conversion, inverter (inv) for DC/ AC conversion, inverter and bypass output switching circuit and energy storage battery.

Uninterruptible power supply is widely used in mines, aerospace, industry, communications, national defense, hospitals, computer business terminals, network servers, network equipment, data storage equipment, emergency lighting systems, railways, ships, transportation, power plants, substations, nuclear power plants, fire safety alarm systems, wireless communication systems, program-controlled switches, mobile communications and other fields.

Working principle of power supply:

1, AC -DC transformation:

Alternating current from the power grid is reduced by autotransformer, full-wave rectified and filtered to become DC voltage, which is provided to inverter circuit. The AC DC input has a soft start circuit, which can avoid the impact on the power grid when starting.

2.DC AC inverter circuit:

The full-bridge inverter circuit with high-power IGBT module has great power margin, especially small output impedance in the output dynamic range, and has the characteristics of fast response. Due to the adoption of high frequency modulation current limiting technology and fast short circuit protection technology, the inverter can work safely and reliably regardless of power supply voltage transient, load shock or short circuit.

3, control drive:

Control drive is the core of complete machine function control. It not only provides detection, protection, synchronization and various switching and display driving signals, but also completes the control of SPWM sinusoidal pulse width modulation. Because of static and dynamic dual voltage feedback. The dynamic characteristics and stability of the inverter are greatly improved.
