What the rescuer should pay attention to after disengaging from the power source
When carrying out first aid for electrocution, the rescuer should pay attention to the following matters: (1) The rescuer should not directly use his hands, other metal and wet objects as rescue tools, but should use appropriate insulated tools. The rescuer should preferably operate with one hand to prevent himself from being electrocuted. (2) Measures to prevent possible fall of the electrocuted person after he/she is removed from the power source should be considered, especially if the electrocuted person is at a high place. Even if the electrocuted person is on level ground, attention should be paid to the direction in which the electrocuted person falls to prevent falls. The rescuer should also pay attention to fall prevention measures during the rescue. (3) When rescuing an injured person, especially on a pole or at a high place, the rescuer should pay attention to the safety distance between himself and the person being rescued and the nearby energized body to prevent touching the energized equipment again. Even if the power supply has been disconnected, electrical equipment and circuits should be regarded as electric equipment if no safety measures have been taken to hang a grounding wire. Rescuers should carry with them the necessary insulated tools and strong ropes when climbing up. (4) If the accident occurs at night, temporary lighting should be set up to facilitate rescue, to avoid accidents, but can not be delayed to remove the power supply and first aid time.
