What does AR, GR, CP, PT, mean in chemical reagents?

It is divided according to the amount of impurity content:

Laboratory reagent: abbreviated as LR, also known as the fourth level reagent.

Chemically pure reagents: abbreviated as CP, also known as tertiary reagents, usually labeled in dark blue on the bottle.

Analytically pure reagents: abbreviated as AR, also known as secondary reagents, usually with a red label on the bottle.

Guaranteed reagent: abbreviated as GR, also known as primary reagent, usually with a green label on the bottle (also known as superior purity)

Reference reagent: abbreviated as PT, specifically used as a reference, can be used directly to formulate the standard solution.

Spectrally pure reagent: abbreviated as SP, it means spectrally pure. However, because the organic matter does not show up on the spectrum, so sometimes the main component can not reach more than 99.9%, and must be careful when using, especially as a reference material, must be calibrated.
