What is the difference between the "indirect pumping" of a miniature vacuum pump and the "direct pumping" of a miniature water pump? What are the advantages of each?

Now a lot of medical equipment, are faced with the solution of bedridden patients urinate after the urine transfer collection problem. In the research and development, there are two options: one is to use a miniature water pump | miniature self-priming pump | miniature pumping pump directly to the collection of urine in the bottle, the second option is to use a miniature vacuum pump | miniature air pump | miniature negative-pressure pumps, so that the vacuum pump on the closed bottle of urine vacuum collection from the collection of bottles on the lead pipe connected to the patient's urine bag on the indirect pumping.

Tests have found that the indirect pumping is particularly efficient and power consumption is extraordinarily low. Specifically as follows:

Micro vacuum pump model: PM6503-12V, the pump is connected to the following figure, for indirect pumping test. Micro vacuum pump | micro air pump, high vacuum VBH series, VCH series, can also be used for indirect pumping.

After the pump is energized, water starts to flow into the sealed container in hose A. When it reaches 550ml, the time required is 17 seconds, which translates into a pumping speed of about 1.9L/min, and the power consumption of this pump is about 1.2w (12V DC, load current <100mA). If the direct pumping, we choose WKA1300-24V miniature vacuum pump | miniature self-priming pump, power consumption of about 3.4w (24V DC, load current <140mA), while the pumping speed of 1.3L/min.

This is not WKA1300 miniature pump power consumption, but by the program decision. If it is directly pumping water, to power consumption of 1.2w and pumping speed of 1.9L/min water pump may not be found.

"Indirect pumping" has several advantages:

1. low power consumption, small size, portable, easy to store; especially suitable for limited battery life of mobile or portable occasions (such as lithium batteries or battery-powered): for example, field life-saving, disaster relief, portable tools, travel, etc.;

2. noise, noise, noise, noise, noise. p>

2. low noise, for medical and health care, especially the need for mute occasions, such as the above patient transfer urine, it is difficult to imagine, with a very noisy pump, the patient and the entire ward and even the entire medical district can tolerate;

3. can be avoided when the pump pumping directly to the particles, resulting in the possibility of malfunctioning (the air pump as a result of the use of buffer bottles, liquids can only enter the buffer bottle, generally will not enter the pump). bottle, and generally will not enter the pump to cause damage).
